Yellow

So if you didn't know, I kinda love the color yellow. Like if something has yellow in it.. it makes it ten times better. Our wedding colors had yellow in it. yea I just love it a lot. and I was just thinking why do I love it so much. I pin a TON of yellow(were talking pinterest here). It just makes me so happy. I love bright colors and I feel this is one of the best and brightest.

I actually know exactly when it was that I started loving yellow.
I was in 9th grade and on the Drill Team/ Dance team, whatevvve ya wanna call it.
All the 9th grade girls were to do a dance with their dads for the spring show and for the "costume" our dads and I were supposed to wear a t-shirt that was the same color. SO presh I know.
I was one of the last people to pick a color.. actually I don't even think I was there that day so when I had to figure out a color the last one I could think of that was avaliable and not horrible was yellow.
The more I thought about wearing yellow the more I loved. Then we got the shirts and it was so bright and cheery and awesome I was really glad I ended up with that color.

The day of the performance my dad (or was it you mom?...ha) sent me yellow roses.
the most beautiful flowers I had ever seen.
and of course I was in 9th grade and getting something sent to you while you were in school was pretty LEGIT. or at least it was in my book.
In the card he said "Yellow is our color" and ever since then yellow has definitely stayed my color..maybe not so much my dads but yea know.. men :)

But honestly it was awesome and I have loved/been obsessed with the color yellow ever since. So thanks dad for making our color yellow.

SOOO now you know why I am so in love with all things yellow.
Hope you had a great day of love. I know it was a spectacular day over here.

Ramblings of a Sports Fanatics Wife

guys I have a story to tell.

If you know us well you know we go to a lot of sporting events. A LOT.

We like BYU and the Clippers and KU and Oregon and Dodgers and yea..

So we got an All Sports pass so that we can go to pretty much any BYU game we want which is awesome for Andrew and has saved us a ton of money.

Since we live in Utah Andrew doesn't get to see the Clippers as much as he would like. In person or on the TV. So when we got the chance to see them play the Jazz for $4 a ticket Andrew jumped on it.

We went and of course the seats were up realllllly high.
We get to our seats and the lady sitting right behind me had the highest pitched cheering voice I have ever heard. It was the most obnoxious thing EVER. or at least that is what I thought.

So the game begins and we are watching and cheering and enjoying our time and the people who have the seats next to us show up. It was two 10 year old kids and what seemed like their babysitter.

They sat down and from then on out the child sitting next to me never closed his mouth. He asked question after question after question. What is this? what is that? oh look at that! oh look at this!

If you can't tell by this point I was starting to get a migraine. ugh

So we get through the first half and we were both on edge and ready to.. well I don't know, but you get the idea. It was annoying.

Andrew decided we had to move or we both would go crazy. I was a little uneasy about the idea. but I finally gave in and decided it would be better for my sanity.

We moved and the second half began and I was in a much better mood after that.
Well about 15 or so minutes after moving I am looking over to my right at the drunk people joking around and being loud when all of a sudden one of them goes tumbling DOWN! ah
let me just say when we first got there I totally thought I was going to fall out of my seat or down the stairs to my death. It was SO SO SO steep. It took some getting used to.
Well there was no one sitting in the seat in front of this drunk person that fell so she tumbles down head first I might add and her head hits the cement. It was loud. and sounded horrible. I honestly thought she just broke her head open. ahhhhhh.

Luckily and I really mean luckily, there was no blood. She was knocked out for probably five minutes and they did some tests to see if she had a concussion, but ah I was so scared for this girl. But she turned out okay and it calmed down the drunk people right away! but my heavens it was sooo scary!

and that is my ramblings of our sports adventures and this is just one game! oh my what an adventure!
Maybe I will have more to share with you soon :)
