Make it WORK!

What are we about to do?

watch PROJECT RUNWAY! of course..duh. oh am I excited. yes yes yes. I am tired from a long day but inside I am jumping up and down and all around and doing some little flips like the gymnasts at nationals did last weekend.

YAY I am blogging on a week day. I worked really really hard to do this so be happy. :)

We went to the clippers game last night. great seats and man those cinnamon pretzels. yum yum good.

Oh right about the game.. IT WAS AWESOME. Sure they didn't win but I LOVED the game. oh basketball where have you been all summer. I am really getting into the NBA, Thank you Andrew. Before it was all college..cough KU cough cough now as long as it is basketball my heart starts jumping.
It sure is a WONDERFUL sport.

Now I would have a sweet picture of the game but my dang camera won't sync to the dang computer.
dang camera cord dang. Ha okay I am done. but really? I am so sick of having camera problems.. ha but that is a problem if I am going into photography...shoot. And these aren't even big problems.
I feel like such a complainer...

Dear Santa,
I would like you to fix my camera..
or maybe get me a sewing machine so I can create
but then an Ipad would be awesome so I can design..
And please give Andrew an iphone 4 while you are at it.

Did yall ever hear that song by Britney Spears way back when (yes I am bringing HER up again)..
It was like Santa Can You hear me? Yea I have that in my head every time I think of Santa.

Now who is ready for Christmas music. ME ME ME. I want to play it so bad at work but I know that will just make the wait longer. I am so excited for the holidays and to be able to spend it with Andrew. I really like always having him by me and knowing that for now we go on every trip together. Now I am sure all you married veterans are like "enjoy that while it lasts cause you will get sick of him real soon"
Now I am sure it will happen and some days we do need separation but for now I love being around him.

I LOVE him if you didn't know.. :)

We love you all too. Now time for some PR. ah YAY
Peace out. Love Andrew & Alex

Wedding Pictures before the California Reception.. :)

I don't know why but I like this A LOT..

the best day of the week.

Why is it that I always feel so tired on Sundays after church? I mean we get to sleep in and its not like I am doing anything too strenuous but man am I sleepy.

I just love Sundays though. Really all you have to do is relax. I have made it a goal to have all my homework done on Saturday so that Sunday is a worry free day. It is just wonderful.

Gosh I love blogging but it is hard to do it more than once a week. We are SO busy.. so I am sorry I am slacking but so are the people that read this blog..aka you. Maybe if there were more comments and I really knew that people where reading it I would write more.. ha so try me and we will see.

This week was full of working. We had three seminars this week so I had to get ready for them and go to two of them making for one early morning and one later night which then means I had to spend the rest of my time doing homework.

Now Andrew has had a great week moving all of the stuff in my office to a different one, creating a filing room. And with all of that excitement this week he has managed to watch A LOT of sports. From a BYU game to a Oregon game to a Oklahoma game.
but wait there is something more exciting to tell...

GUESS WHAT?!?!

We are going to the clippers home opener AND the Oregon vs. USC game. WOAH
So next week will again be filled with some AWESOME sports. and this will be my first real college football game so I am pretty excited for that and to see Oregon kill. :)

We went and saw the Hereafter on Friday. It was sad. I wasn't a big fan. Definitely a one time movie unless you like being sad a lot.

Story time..

Saturday we were going to Walmart to get a few things and we were almost out of Andrews neighborhood/ at the bottom of the hill if you know what I am talking about, when we had to pull over because there was a HORRIBLE smell coming from the air vents. Andrew pops the hood and gets out and as he does a rat is running over to the side. Andrew gets a stick and starts hitting it.. needless to say I am like what the heck are you doing, why in the world do you need to go do that.

So then he opens the hood and a rat is staring at him. After a few seconds it runs down into the engine. There is a large pill of leaves and twigs in the middle of the hood. AWESOME. yeah NOT so much.
We drive back up to the house and proceed to pull/vacuum/spray out the hood of the car. Unfortunately the air still smells of rat PEE. yes that is right. Nasty, stinky, smelly, rat pee. ughhhh.

We tried to air it out but it got to the point were we really don't want to turn the air on even. Stupid rats.

It better go away or we will be suing the rat community.

Now for a better note Andrew and I got to shake Elder Nelsons hand last week. SWEEET. I know right? He talked at Stake Conference (sorry for those of you who have NO IDEA what I am talking about, he is a leader in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Andrew and I's church that we are members of. And Stake Conference is when a large group of us, larger than normal sundays, get together to listen to speakers.). He is a wonderful speaker and I just loved it. He brought such a strong spirit and love to the meeting. How wonderful. :)

To add to this happy moment here are some more wedding pictures. :)

Let's Go CougarJayhawksDucks

Basketball season starts really soon.. like 17 days for KU and 21 days for BYU

We are really really excited. Now I heard from a little bird that BYU will be amazing like top 10 amazing and for KU I have no idea. I barely have time to look up when they start playing let alone how good they are. I am sure if you asked Andrew he will have some idea or find out.

We are watching BYU football at the moment. We expect them to lose cause they are against number 4 in the country TCU but I can wish, right? We had an awesome dinner or chicken and ribs tonight and then apple pie and ice cream for dessert. oh man I NEED to exercise. yea its hard to start that. And my scars on my stomach feel weird sometimes when I use stomach muscles too much.. blah.

Sorry I didn't blog at all this week. It was busy and I barley finished all of my homework in time.
Even this weekend I had this random to do list. I think it is what I just like to do. I like to make to do lists so that when I finish something..even if it is really small.. I feel good about it. ha go me.

Now to go along with my wonderful sports talking post I am going to let you all in on the BEST team football video EVER. And to go with it I have a story...
Andrew's old roommate Morgan Leader (they were roommates Fall 2009 and Summer 2010) is from Oregon and he is obsessed with the Oregon Ducks (College team for those of you not familiar with sports)
Now Morgan would walk around the apartment and randomly yell I LOVE MY DUCKS.
And it had a little tune to it so I always thought oh thats a cute little song for the ducks... hm well little did I know.
Other times he would walk around and sing I SMELL ROSES.. yea that one had me a little puzzled.
And Andrew would always play along with it so I just thought it some sports thing that I just didn't know anything about.

Well about two weeks ago Andrew was like SUPER excited about this video he found and he was like I have to tell Morgan right away! He showed it to me and everything started clicking. It was the follow up video to the first one. So then he showed me the first video they made and I was like WOAH the whole semester now makes a little more sense. HA

SO here is the low down. These guys go to The University of Oregon and had to make a video for class so they made this first one.. and it has to do with the I Smell Roses reference ... There group name is supwitchugirl so that is what the reference to that is..So click on the I smell roses and it should take you to YouTube.

I Smell Roses

Now the second video is what Andrew got REALLY excited about and I think it is AWESOME!
I want to be a duck fan because of it. So listen and watch and tell me what you think.

I don't care if you are a kid, a teenage, a college student, a mom, a sister, a friend, a WHATEVER but you HAVE TO watch at least this second video. okay go!

Return of the Quack

Ok well I hope you enjoyed those cause I know we sure do. KU and BYU NEEDS one of those.

Well here are a couple more wedding pictures to make you smile. This is California Reception...

This was on top of our cupcake stand so they had me hold it for a min.
An LA glass temple is on top if you were wondering :)

Missionary Moments!

As Andrew watches football I am supposed to be doing homework but then I thought oh man I haven't blogged in a while. Guess my homework will have to wait.

We had a pretty good past week. We are both working at Estate Strategies. I am on the office work and Andrew is on the landscaping/fixing the building work. I think it has and will be a lot of learning and growing for the both of us! I will grow in the mind and Andrew will grow in the tan and arms. ;)

This past weekend we saw "Life as we know it" and went to Snapper Jacks.
Good Movie, Good Food, Good Times. :)

Guess what is on tomorrow? OH if you don't know shame on you! it is GLEE!!!

I think Andrew and I will be culinary specialist. Not only do we watch the awesome cooking shows but we MADE carmel popcorn and this really good Beef and Broccoli.

That makes us like Bobby Flay and Rachel Ray. Oh what a combination!

My Best Friend Morgan Boone has gone on a Mission to Spain and Andrew's Best Friend Logan Rahn is on a Mission in Kobe, Japan so I thought it would be fun to pay a tribute to them.

So here we go.. girls first..

Morgan Watkins Boone left on September 29th 2010
She is still in the MTC but will be going to Spain in three weeks or so..?
We were roommates in the Summer of 2009 and just went from there. I love her so much. She is just an amazingly beautiful girl and has an even more beautiful spirit. Now here are pictures!

Now...

Logan Andrew Rahn left on May 6th 2010.
He has been in Japan for over a year in a half.
Andrew and him have known each other pretty much since before they were born. They have been best friends there whole lives and I constantly hear stories about there good times together. They are just like brothers I hear and I CAN'T WAIT to meet this guy.

Andrew on the Left, Logan on the right..I'm not sure on the middle..hm sorry

Now these two people are amazing. and We LOVE them so much.
But we can't leave out some of our other missionary friends so here is a picture for each person we know on a mission.

An incredible person, Aleni is serving in Finland!

Funny man, Taylor serving in Mexico!

Lakers Fan, Ryan ( on the far right) serving in Argentina

Andrew's friend (I dont know much about her other than she has beautiful red hair!), Hannah serving in Utah

Well I think this ended up being longer than I thought which makes me VERYY Happy. Yay blogging.
I hope you all enjoyed and if you are feeling really good you can write all of these lovely people and give them some inspiration and love. Just ask us and hopefully we have the address

Peace out!
