Today I had one of those moments. You know, the moment when you look around and think,
"My life is perfect."
It was an amazing feeling. One that I want to have all of the time. I felt like there were no worries in the world that I wouldn't be able to get through. It only lasted a few minutes and then my mind wandered on to something else but in those few moments I thought to myself, "I never want to forget this feeling."
I was heading home from my internship. It is in Murray, UT which is an exactly forty-five minute drive from our house. That seems long, but I really enjoy those forty-five minutes. I have found myself either on a phone call with a family member for forty-five uninterrupted minutes or I have the radio up really load and am singing like I am on American Idol, cause that is my favorite thing in the world. Its like my me time. My alone time with just me and pandora blaring out of the speakers.
I was half way through the drive at this point and Anna Kendrick was singing the cup song to me which is pretty awesome I must say. Great songs were playing, the chilled air conditioning was blowing on me, and the sun was shinning.
I just came around the point of the mountain and looked out onto Utah valley, my breath was taken away. The sun was hitting the Mountains PERFECTLY! The tops are still snow capped and the rest is starting to turn green. It is magical. And in those moments I thought this a great time in my life.
Living here. Being with my best friend. Going to an amazing school. Having amazing friends and family. Being healthy. Summer time. Life is perfect.
I sat there smiling like I had a secret to tell the world.
It was perfect. and I hope to never forget that feeling.
I hope you all had an equally as great of a monday. and have a great week!
love, Alex

Ramblings of a Sports Fanatics Wife
guys I have a story to tell.
If you know us well you know we go to a lot of sporting events. A LOT.
We like BYU and the Clippers and KU and Oregon and Dodgers and yea..
So we got an All Sports pass so that we can go to pretty much any BYU game we want which is awesome for Andrew and has saved us a ton of money.
Since we live in Utah Andrew doesn't get to see the Clippers as much as he would like. In person or on the TV. So when we got the chance to see them play the Jazz for $4 a ticket Andrew jumped on it.
We went and of course the seats were up realllllly high.
We get to our seats and the lady sitting right behind me had the highest pitched cheering voice I have ever heard. It was the most obnoxious thing EVER. or at least that is what I thought.
So the game begins and we are watching and cheering and enjoying our time and the people who have the seats next to us show up. It was two 10 year old kids and what seemed like their babysitter.
They sat down and from then on out the child sitting next to me never closed his mouth. He asked question after question after question. What is this? what is that? oh look at that! oh look at this!
If you can't tell by this point I was starting to get a migraine. ugh
So we get through the first half and we were both on edge and ready to.. well I don't know, but you get the idea. It was annoying.
Andrew decided we had to move or we both would go crazy. I was a little uneasy about the idea. but I finally gave in and decided it would be better for my sanity.
We moved and the second half began and I was in a much better mood after that.
Well about 15 or so minutes after moving I am looking over to my right at the drunk people joking around and being loud when all of a sudden one of them goes tumbling DOWN! ah
let me just say when we first got there I totally thought I was going to fall out of my seat or down the stairs to my death. It was SO SO SO steep. It took some getting used to.
Well there was no one sitting in the seat in front of this drunk person that fell so she tumbles down head first I might add and her head hits the cement. It was loud. and sounded horrible. I honestly thought she just broke her head open. ahhhhhh.
Luckily and I really mean luckily, there was no blood. She was knocked out for probably five minutes and they did some tests to see if she had a concussion, but ah I was so scared for this girl. But she turned out okay and it calmed down the drunk people right away! but my heavens it was sooo scary!
and that is my ramblings of our sports adventures and this is just one game! oh my what an adventure!
Maybe I will have more to share with you soon :)

September Wedding Bells
September is just the BEST time to get married. well if you ask us. and if you ask anna&jordan and now alex&logan.
Andrew's best friend Logan ( he was mentioned in this post and this one) goes to school at BYU-Hawaii, lucky little duck, and he met this AWESOME girl named Alex (mentioned her in the last post).
Well long story short they dated and fell in love and got married. awesome right? yes.
September 6th 2012 they got married in the Salt Lake City Temple. I loved being able to go and celebrate with them in the most special day of their lives. This temple is so magical. I love the history of it. and the detail of everything in it.
It was a beautiful day. and everything was just amazing. love is great. and so is marriage.

Best Friends & Fireworks
The 4th of July has also come and gone. Man I really need to get back into my blogging habit and picture taking habit. It was a great day. We went to Provo Tuesday night after saying goodbye to my family. Wednesday morning we went to the Provo parade and it was great! I got to see Stephanie Neilson for like a split second and a half but it was AWESOME. She is seriously my hero and I would love to meet her some day. (I actually just finished her amazing book yesterday.. but maybe more on that later) So yes awesome parade.
Then we met up with Andrews best friend Logan who we haven't seen in like a year and his FIANCE! Man they are so cute together. and her name is Alex. How ironic is that??? It makes me laugh a little every time I think about it. But its great. Her and I decided we shall be best friends. I like making new friends, especially when it is a couple that we both like. We went to Tucanos with them which is pretty much the best restaurant EVER! So much good unlimited food. I have been missing out for sure! Then we went on a little stroll through Provo canyon by the waterfalls. soooo beautiful. Then off to Sub zero to cool ourselves down because man was it HOT! it was wonderful though.
To end the day we went to Utah Lake with our friends the Turnbulls to go night tubing. (Night Tubing= where you go tubing at night and you wear glow sticks so when you fall off they can find you in the water..ha) It was great. and then once the fireworks started we stopped the boat and watched all of the firework shows in the provo valley area..thing.
So I just wrote a novel and its boring and I have no pictures. I will try to be more exciting next time and not wait so long.. haha I'm working on it. Finals are this week and next so I will be done soon and then the moving begins! AH crazy times. I looooove it.
Hope you enjoyed this awesome, informative, loving blog post.
Until next time, ENJOY!

Sunday Loving
I decided to start a trend. I loooove looking at blogs and I love the creativeness of them all. I have participated in Awkward and Awesome thursday, which was just great and I should probably do it again cause it is just great to write down all of the awesome things that happen each week and laugh at the awkwards. SOOOO end of the long story, I am doing Sunday Loving. (I just started singing summer loving from grease in my head...bah) Every Sunday, as long as i don't forget, I will write about something I love or we love. It can be ANYTHING. maybe something that happened that week. something we have seen, done, ate, anything. and YOU can join in too! maybe if this gets cool enough I will make one of those button things for it. If you know what I am talking about great and if not.. well don't feel bad, I'm turning into a blogging freak.
To start my new trend off I neeeed to tell you all about this show that Andrew and I first found on netflix and now have to watch on Hulu because we caught up WAY too quickly. We have fallen in LOVE with this show. one word.

Parenthood.
This is the cast. This is also the family that it is all about. The siblings are all grown up and have their own families but they all still live near each other in northern California.
I think we like it so much because it is just everyday life and troubles that a lot of people go through. Andrew and I love to discuss what we would do if we were in those situations. We have had some great discussions come of it and in a way I think it helps us see how we will handle parenthood and how we will handle difficult situations.
Isn't this such a cute advertisement??
it doesn't hurt that Lauren Graham is in this show too. I love her. Don't even get me started talking about how much I LOVE Gilmore Girls.
One thing we have noticed about this show is how much of a difference it makes knowing we have the gospel in our life and how different we will handle those situations because of that.
Go check this show out. its normalish life acted out. Whats better? oh yea reality shows..ha
So what is your Sunday Loving?
love,alex&andrew
PS. I feel like I should leave you with a couple pictures from a trip we took to Utah and then a drive up to Sundance. It was beautiful and I fell in love with the gift shop they have. perfection.
