Brigham Young University - Rexburg, Idaho

We are completely done at Brigham Young University-Idaho.
There is not one more assignment we have to turn in at this school.
I honestly have no idea what I am feeling right now.
I kinda feel anxious. or like I wanna cry. or scream. or burst with joy.
What an experience.
Andrew and I are both leaving as Juniors with an Associates in General Studies.

Completely Bitter Sweet.
The past three years have been years we will never forget.
We met some of the most amazing people.
We met each other HERE.

Ohhh Small Town Rexburg.
I will NOT say it has been easy. and I will definitely not say that I have loved it here all of the time. but it has been a crazy ride.
Let's take a look back on this journey shall we? Hold on it's a LONG one.

We are sad and nervous to move but also very excited to have many many more adventures.

Best Friends & Fireworks

The 4th of July has also come and gone. Man I really need to get back into my blogging habit and picture taking habit. It was a great day. We went to Provo Tuesday night after saying goodbye to my family. Wednesday morning we went to the Provo parade and it was great! I got to see Stephanie Neilson for like a split second and a half but it was AWESOME. She is seriously my hero and I would love to meet her some day. (I actually just finished her amazing book yesterday.. but maybe more on that later) So yes awesome parade.

Then we met up with Andrews best friend Logan who we haven't seen in like a year and his FIANCE! Man they are so cute together. and her name is Alex. How ironic is that??? It makes me laugh a little every time I think about it. But its great. Her and I decided we shall be best friends. I like making new friends, especially when it is a couple that we both like. We went to Tucanos with them which is pretty much the best restaurant EVER! So much good unlimited food. I have been missing out for sure! Then we went on a little stroll through Provo canyon by the waterfalls. soooo beautiful. Then off to Sub zero to cool ourselves down because man was it HOT! it was wonderful though.

To end the day we went to Utah Lake with our friends the Turnbulls to go night tubing. (Night Tubing= where you go tubing at night and you wear glow sticks so when you fall off they can find you in the water..ha) It was great. and then once the fireworks started we stopped the boat and watched all of the firework shows in the provo valley area..thing.

So I just wrote a novel and its boring and I have no pictures. I will try to be more exciting next time and not wait so long.. haha I'm working on it. Finals are this week and next so I will be done soon and then the moving begins! AH crazy times. I looooove it.

Bitter Sweet Times

I have wanted to blog for a while but didn't really know what to say. and Honestly I still don't.

I want to keep this blog like a journal and write down the good and the bad times. So I guess it is time for a not so good time.

My Grandpa Brown passed away on Thursday June 21st, 2012. It was a shocker. He had had his gall bladder removed and was recovering so I thought he was doing good. But things took a turn for the worst.

Honestly, I know he is in a much better place now and I know that he isn't hurting, and his body isn't causing him trouble. What a wonderful thing to think about! And I know he is there chilling with his mom and dad and brothers. What a great reunion that must have been.

Honestly it hit me pretty hard. It was the first person close to me that I have had pass away and let me tell you I do NOT like it. but I know it is okay and I will see him again. For now I will remember the sweet memories that I have of him.

One of the last times we had a good long conversation was when he took me around his whole house and told me all about the treasures he has collected over the years. It was great to hear his stories and see of his excitement and remembering his life experiences.

And then another one of the last convos was me telling him about Andrew and I going to BYU. He was really excited for us. I am glad we get to go to his alma mater.

Now to make a sad time happy my family was able to drive out here to come to the funeral. So we got to see them all 4 weeks earlier then originally planned.

I got to see my brother before he went into the MTC on Thursday. That was also bitter sweet.

I am so proud of that littler brother of mine and the work he will be doing for the next two years of his life. He is serving in the Salt Lake City - Spanish Speaking mission. So pretty much Andrew and I will be 45 minutes from him for a lot of the time. WOW that will be hard not to just go look for him everyday! ha I figure I will see him at least once on his mission so I am not too crazy missing him but it is just weird knowing I can't call him whenever I want and see how he is doing.

I will miss him but I am so proud and know I can write him whenever I want to!

oh hey there June, it is GREAT to see you.
Let's just not talk about the last month or the one coming up either.
Let's just say that this semester is hard. and it shouldn't be because not one of my classes are required.
I am taking classes this semester to work. aka to get money. aka so I can go to a different school.

In the words of everyone around me, I just care too much about grades. and man is that TRUE. and how sad it is! I have learned that I don't learn very quickly. It takes time for me to process. and I almost always need a visual. So when a test comes or a large assignment or project comes along I do all I can to get the best grade even if it means cramming everything into my head and then letting it exit once I have gotten that A.
Moral of the story this semester I am really learning to not... care so much(although that sounds bad) but really try to LEARN and UNDERSTAND the material.
BUT real great story I LOVE MY PATTERN MAKING CLASS. I was a little hesitant to take it because I thought it would be hard and its at 8am and if I have a choice then the choice is not waking up that early. but I risked it and I am SO glad I did. This class is seriously amazing. I definitely have a lot to learn but it is SO great. and i can't forget my building an eternal marriage class. WOW this teacher rocks and has so much knowledge and quotes and information from prophets and apostles. I look forward to this class every monday and wednesday. so its all good.
Now I realize I have not posted in a while hence that little rant. So I am now going to proceed to overload you with pictures of a time we went shooting. and then hot dog roasting. and then watching people blow up a REGULAR SIZED FRIDGE. and then beautiful sunset gazing. all in one night. man its great.

So its June and that is pretty awesome. Less than 50 days until the end of the semester. and about a month until my 21st birthday. yippie!

p.s it was like 50 degrees here today so summer is uhm...slacking in small terms? hopefully this weekend is better. and did I tell you we get to see BILL COSBY this weekend. yes in little ol rexburg. how awesome. The question I keep asking myself is What the heck is he going to do in-between the three shows he has over the next three days in REXBURG? come on people...

It's Friday Night

and we are at home. but it's good cause I like relaxing with my mister. and after this week I need it. Mister is watching the Clipper game. its the play offs if you didn't know. so I am sitting next to him pinning my little heart out. it is really getting the creative juices flowing. I think tomorrow after work of course and after planning my lesson of course, I will make some things. Like a maxi skirt..if i have the fabric that is. or maybe a baby elephant cause I really want to try. I have decided that I better start now in making things for future children because with the list of things I want to make.. well lets just say i could probably sew for the rest of my life. which is totally fine by me. tonight i have been looking at beautiful photos of beautiful people and things. So I thought it would be good to share. and actually blog again. can you tell school has started? ha yea. so is it july yet? it is probably really sad that I know this but did you know that there are only 70 days left until the end of this semester? yea i am that excited.
